Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Minas Markomichalis made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute of the match, Minas Markomichalis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Minas Markomichalis scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute of the match Jonathan Venegas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cveto Novinec skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play forced FC Koper's goalkeeper Cveto Novinec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cveto Novinec was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Cveto Novinec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After having played for 30 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cveto Novinec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Istok Marinč charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Istok Marinč the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Istok Marinč hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes FC Koper got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Sasoin. Cveto Novinec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Minas Markomichalis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. When FC Koper's Manos Labrou in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After 77 played minutes FC Koper got a freekick which was hit by Istok Marinč. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manos Labrou in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to FC Koper getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ekaitz Sirvent hit a great ball. Joshua Secada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Minas Markomichalis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Adin Lokan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
