Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Buhrmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Buhrmann came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Vännäsby BF defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronny Tiger. The Vännäsby BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronny Tiger should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Mario Buhrmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Buhrmann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 32 minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Buhrmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 39th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Tiger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 57 minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Mario Buhrmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute, Kim Kallstrøm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Kallstrøm in the 71st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Tiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Tiger having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Kim Kallstrøm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Mario Buhrmann made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Buhrmann in the 86th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Kallstrøm in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Mario Buhrmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kim Kallstrøm took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-2. Vännäsby BF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
