If Luis Cazalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Jacquemet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Jacquemet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Frutos Rojas came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when West Town SC's Angel Mena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The attack was good, but when Angel Mena in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Micael Caicedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 47th minute of play forced West Town SC's goalkeeper Billy Jacquemet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angel Mena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Billy Jacquemet. That made the score 1-2 in the 51 minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Costa in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Mena in the 56th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, West Town SC's Angel Mena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Colombia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Torres Begal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the game, West Town SC's Angel Mena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Torres Begal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Douglas Costa made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and 姚国益 immediately put the ball in play. Torres Begal scored 5-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by West Town SC's Torres Begal. But to his dismay, Torres Begal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. Billy Jacquemet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
