Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Isidoro Azevedo made the kick off and thus started the match. Rodolfo Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Azevedo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodolfo Bertassi. Rodolfo Bertassi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Isidoro Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 17 minutes, Isidoro Azevedo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodolfo Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Cristian Sancho drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper. Rodolfo Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Valverde, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Azevedo in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, El ABUELO FC's Rodolfo Bertassi got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rodolfo Bertassi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Azevedo in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Isidoro Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by El ABUELO FC's Federico Valverde. But to his dismay, Federico Valverde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 52 minutes, Isidoro Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El ABUELO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, El ABUELO FC's Anselmo Maiorga got a free kick in the 55th minute. Isidoro Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Isidoro Azevedo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isidoro Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rodolfo Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Valverde in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Rodolfo Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Isidoro Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Ecuador were furious when Antonio Arias was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of El ABUELO FC:s goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Azevedo in the 97th minute. Although Ecuador had been in control for most of the match, El ABUELO FC still came away with the win.
