Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Petru Vernescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernest Enciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Wolf’s's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernest Enciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Facundo Cadaval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Enciu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Ernest Enciu came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 24th minute, Aristide Oprea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 25 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Vernescu in the 29th minute of play. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ernest Enciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasile Chitoran in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasile Chitoran. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Wolf’s's goalkeeper Ernest Enciu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ernest Enciu made a huge save. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernest Enciu made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Vernescu in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, The Wolf’s's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Ernest Enciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Vernescu came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petru Vernescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
