Willy Herzog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Peto in the 15th minute of the match. Apolo Peto spun around in front of the goal 15 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Tunge Titans's goal. 19 minutes into the match, Jeremias Gaueko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willy Herzog. Tunge Titans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Gaueko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sacro Balompié were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Tunge Titans's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeremias Gaueko took the corner. After taking down the ball on Sacro Balompié's corner Jeremias Gaueko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Willy Herzog quite easily take care of the ball. Rafael Márquez hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Cristian Lorien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Dalström in the 31st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Bieito to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tunge Titans booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Dalström in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Lorien saved Sacro Balompié from getting behind. After 65 minutes, Henry Dalström made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Sacro Balompié's Cristian Lorien tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sacro Balompié's Gervasio Lidon was substituted for Aquiles Bieito. Sacro Balompié's Teobaldo Bernal was substituted for Jeremias Gaueko. It was Gervasio Lidon who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Apolo Peto heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Sacro Balompié's Cristian Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Dalström in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tunge Titans defense, Teobaldo Bernal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willy Herzog. The Tunge Titans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willy Herzog should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Sacro Balompié getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Stathis Pallini hit a great ball. Cristian Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Cristian Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Sacro Balompié's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
