Derek Neyens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dráusio Pitta having to make a save. Cristian Ronaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etxeberri Benavides having to interfere. In the 6th minute Romelio Komar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pégasus F. C. were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Fohat Neyen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samuca Tepedino took the corner. Pégasus F. C.'s Samuca Tepedino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Etxeberri Benavides in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dráusio Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romelio Komar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Pégasus F. C. defense, Romelio Komar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dráusio Pitta. The Pégasus F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dráusio Pitta should have stopped the shot. If Eliézer Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Fohat Neyen's goal looked a bit too open when Eliézer Dante came free, but Etxeberri Benavides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Eliézer Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Etxeberri Benavides was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Ronaldo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Etxeberri Benavides saved Fohat Neyen from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Samuca Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Etxeberri Benavides was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Ronaldo to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Somayina Cartagena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráusio Pitta was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Fohat Neyen's zone, Samuca Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Etxeberri Benavides came out of the goal and Samuca Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuca Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Etxeberri Benavides made a huge save. Miguel Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pégasus F. C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Miguel Dias hit a great ball. Samuca Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Etxeberri Benavides made a huge save. Somayina Cartagena's late challenge caught a Pégasus F. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Somayina Cartagena helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Fohat Neyen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Somayina Cartagena to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Pégasus F. C. got a corner. Fohat Neyen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuca Tepedino ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Samuca Tepedino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Etxeberri Benavides quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Etxeberri Benavides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuca Tepedino in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Fohat Neyen's Etxeberri Benavides got control of the ball when Eliézer Dante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dráusio Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Somayina Cartagena, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 78 minutes of play, Fohat Neyen's Romelio Komar made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráusio Pitta was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuca Tepedino got free with Etxeberri Benavides in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 minutes, Vitinho das Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pégasus F. C. and the Fohat Neyen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Pégasus F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho das Neves. With a little luck, Fohat Neyen's Etxeberri Benavides got control of the ball when Cristian Ronaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etxeberri Benavides having to interfere. Pégasus F. C.'s Dráusio Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Bueno in the 89th minute of play. Etxeberri Benavides made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Cristian Ronaldo sent off a good shot on target. Etxeberri Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Dias in the 93rd minute of play.
