After a rather tough play, Purcaresti CSS's Horaţiu Pătrășcanu got a free kick in the 4th minute. Josue Barro made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ionuț Gane sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Eugen Tiberiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purcaresti CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Tiberiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josue Barro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valeriu Amurăriței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Josue Barro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Valeriu Amurăriței hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Valeriu Amurăriței sent off a fantastic shot from long distance in the 18th minute of the match, a shot that made Josue Barro throw himself in all his length to reach the ball for the save just at the upper right corner. Flying Dutch's Josue Barro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Flying Dutch from getting a goal against them. Victor de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Flying Dutch's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Gane came free, but Josue Barro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Purcaresti CSS's Romeo Hizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Xacintu in the 34th minute of play. Flying Dutch were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Purcaresti CSS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eurico Batista took the corner. Victor de Salles made a great header on Flying Dutch's corner, it was just that Purcaresti CSS's Romeo Hizo managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Xacintu in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Hizo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Niceto Xacintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flying Dutch's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Xacintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Hizo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Josue Barro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Amurăriței in the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Purcaresti CSS's zone, Niceto Xacintu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Hizo came out of the goal and Niceto Xacintu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute of the match Valeriu Amurăriței shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josue Barro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Tiberiu in the 63rd minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Josue Barro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josue Barro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Novăceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josue Barro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Amurăriței, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Romeo Hizo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Xacintu in the 69th minute. If Constantin Negru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Pătrășcanu. Eurico Batista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romeo Hizo. Purcaresti CSS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Purcaresti CSS getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Aurelian Stanciu hit a great ball. Eurico Batista, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aurelian Stanciu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Niceto Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Hizo having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's goalkeeper Romeo Hizo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Xacintu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor de Salles in the 86th minute of play forced Purcaresti CSS's goalkeeper Romeo Hizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Victor de Salles came free, but Romeo Hizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Gane. Purcaresti CSS's Romeo Hizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Purcaresti CSS from getting a goal against them. Romeo Hizo had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Eurico Batista's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Purcaresti CSS's Avram Ciprian got a free kick in the 96th minute.
Flying Dutch's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
