The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Romeo Raulo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If C.J. 吕布 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. But to his dismay, C.J. 吕布 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Smiley in the 15th minute of play forced ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s goalkeeper Aurelio Giammaria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Thomas Reeves in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Bartosz Bednorz. Aurelio Giammaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Smiley in the 19th minute of the match. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from C.J. 吕布 in the 26th minute of the match. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Koks in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benny Koks was slow to take the kick. During this time ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Aldo Sciascia to fire away a dangerous shot which Guilherme Veiga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aurelio Giammaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Raulo in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Racing Miami Futbol Club got a corner. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vance Tidwell ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Chu Zheng Yu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aurelio Giammaria quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aurelio Giammaria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Raulo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Romeo Raulo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Racing Miami Futbol Club defense, C.J. 吕布 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Veiga. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Veiga should have stopped the shot. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ made a substitution. Slawomir Banach replaced Bartosz Bednorz. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benny Koks made the kick off in the second half. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from C.J. 吕布 in the 53rd minute of play. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Ervin DeJesus replaced Shane Smiley. Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Racing Miami Futbol Club's James Joyner quite brazenly broke a throw-in by De-Falco Champion, made in the 75th minute of the game. After 76 minutes of play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Keenan Worthington made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Giammaria was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Benny Koks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Koks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute C.J. 吕布 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Ty Boyce. In the 95th minute, Ty Boyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Kryspin Galagan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
