The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Desiderio Endura successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Acácio Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Van Field in the 8th minute of the match. Eurico Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Endura having to make a save. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Van Field shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Eurico Peixoto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eurico Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Peixoto got free with Desiderio Endura in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Desiderio Endura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 minutes SOUTH THUNDER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Gaúcho who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Amauri Lago almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura did a great save. If Eurico Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Desiderio Endura made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Eurico Peixoto sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eurico Peixoto in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Endura saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Eurico Peixoto made a precise shot to the right of Desiderio Endura. SOUTH THUNDER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Eurico Peixoto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Desiderio Endura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Augusto Procopio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Vasco having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Eurico Peixoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desiderio Endura. SOUTH THUNDER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eurico Peixoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of Ibis Football Club booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Procopio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Eurico Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibis Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eurico Peixoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Per-Oskar Nordstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Van Field to make the kick off. Desiderio Endura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eurico Peixoto went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Eurico Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Endura having to make a save. Desiderio Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Eurico Peixoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desiderio Endura. When Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SOUTH THUNDER's goalie prevented a goal. Eurico Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Desiderio Endura came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto. But to his dismay, Eurico Peixoto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.
