Icang Wanandi's late challenge caught a Shaolin soccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Icang Wanandi helped the player get up and apologised. Egi Ryacudu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartosz Lech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Holin Probohudono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pawel Pazura made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Szczepan Matuch. In the 19th minute, Holin Probohudono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute of the match, Szczepan Matuch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kurniawan Bisri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bartosz Lech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yonas Sutrisna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egi Ryacudu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bartosz Lech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute of the match, Miromir Lichorobiec got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kurniawan Bisri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wiktor Domeradzki might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurniawan Bisri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartosz Lech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holin Probohudono in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Holin Probohudono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PHOENIX SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Kurniawan Bisri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Matuch in the 40th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Holin Probohudono stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Egi Ryacudu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Lech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egi Ryacudu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Bartosz Lech made a huge save. With a little luck, Shaolin soccer's Bartosz Lech got control of the ball when Holin Probohudono tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Egi Ryacudu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PHOENIX SC's Kurniawan Bisri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Lichorobiec in the 71st minute of play. After 90 minutes, Rodrigo Abaurre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PHOENIX SC and the Shaolin soccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Borys Gacek was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The Shaolin soccer supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PHOENIX SC's performance. The match ended with a win for PHOENIX SC.
