The supporters of Adevarul Pur booed when ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Cordaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costin Stănculescu having to interfere. Perry Barrios came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Costin Stănculescu could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's zone, Pompiliu Cobzeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Cambranes came out of the goal and Pompiliu Cobzeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Călimanescu in the 14th minute of play forced ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Hector Cambranes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petruț Iuzbașa's late challenge caught a ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petruț Iuzbașa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ booed when Adevarul Pur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. With his leg Costin Stănculescu managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Bernardinho Romeo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hector Cambranes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Vârlan in the 31st minute of the match. If Perry Barrios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bernardinho Romeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruperto Tercero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Costin Stănculescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruperto Tercero slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardinho Romeo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ionică Vârlan scored 1-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Cambranes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Costin Stănculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Romeo in the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Hector Cambranes got control of the ball when Ionică Vârlan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costin Stănculescu came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Perry Barrios. But to his dismay, Perry Barrios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After some careless play in the Adevarul Pur defense, Perry Barrios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costin Stănculescu. The Adevarul Pur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costin Stănculescu should have stopped the shot. Arturo Cordaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costin Stănculescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stelian Cruceru got free with Hector Cambranes in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Cristian Egoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Adevarul Pur the free kick. Cristian Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Ionică Vârlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Cambranes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes in the game, Pompiliu Cobzeanu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hector Cambranes having to interfere. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Hector Cambranes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Vârlan in the 87th minute of play. Johan Romanius's late challenge caught a Adevarul Pur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johan Romanius helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ got a freekick which was hit by Johan Romanius.

Adevarul Pur's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
