The referee ignored LA MAQUINA F.C's protests and gave Leonardo Chumo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Leonardo Chumo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, LA MAQUINA F.C's Leonardo Chumo got a free kick in the 6th minute. Cecilio Ubarna struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Bernardino Beltran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Maradona. In the 8thth minute of the game Marco Leoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Maradona's Tor Rosenlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Leoni kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Marco Leoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor Rosenlund was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Bernardino Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Ubarna in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Berasko. Tor Rosenlund was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mamat Marasabessy was the one to do the kick off. Bernardino Beltran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Bernardino Beltran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonas Vela charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Vela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Samuel Refugio came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Santa Maradona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Refugio couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mamat Marasabessy in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Rosenlund saved Santa Maradona from getting behind. Samuel Refugio, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bernardino Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Ubarna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Beltran having to interfere.
