Gottfrid Haström came out of the goal and Rigoberto Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Rigoberto Flores shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gottfrid Haström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Cenan Savlet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
