KOO Tigers's Andriy Lunin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dre Schipmans in the 26th minute of play. Sport Club Mavericks's Dre Schipmans was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. KOO Tigers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Vítor Perez scored to the left of an out of position Andriy Lunin, making the score, 3-1. In the 45th match minute, KOO Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağan İstemihan to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Sport Club Mavericks's Arnaldo Baiano was substituted for Marcus Pinho. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dre Schipmans to make the kick off.
