Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Michael Brask in the 107th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmílson Simão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Willian Teixeira in the 110th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Paul Stoian. Edmílson Simão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 112th minute. After a rather tough play, Fluminense DF's Aílton de Moraes got a free kick in the 113th minute. In the 114th match minute, Fluminense DF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 114 minutes, Paul Stoian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Stoian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Luizão Diniz to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo de Mendonça got free with Flavio Peter in the 119th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmílson Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 121st minute of the match. Edmílson Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 123rd minute of play. In the 124th minute, João Carlos Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Michael Brask took the ball and in the 125 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmílson Simão. Edmílson Simão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
