In the 11th minute Cyryl Karpinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Xing Ying saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Di Xing Ying made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarvis Cormier in the 13th minute of play. After 21 played minutes SILMONT got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Guimarães. Máté Galambos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Bordat in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Bordat in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Máté Galambos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Di Xing Ying was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cyryl Karpinski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. Di Xing Ying showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Karpinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. SILMONT's Javier Bordat suffered a concussion in the 48th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. SILMONT made a substitution. Nolan Pétiot replaced Javier Bordat. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Thomas Albaret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máté Galambos came out of the goal and Thomas Albaret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

55 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Nolan Pétiot came free, but Máté Galambos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Máté Galambos got control of the ball when Thomas Albaret tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boca Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. SILMONT's Thomas Albaret was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Máté Galambos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thomas Albaret took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Máté Galambos. Máté Galambos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. SILMONT's Di Xing Ying played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Jaume in the 67th minute of play. Thomas Albaret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boca Juniors's Collin Rowley was substituted for 柯国风. Máté Galambos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nolan Pétiot in the 75th minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Thomas Albaret who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Máté Galambos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Di Xing Ying took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarvis Cormier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Dennis Wander hit a great ball. After 99 minutes, Collin Rowley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the SILMONT players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Collin Rowley got a free kick in the 99th minute.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SILMONT had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
