An unexpectedly hard shot by Amilcar Gomez in the 7th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Laurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when 魏竞博 in the 8th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. La Candela FC's Cristian Medina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 邱荣远 in the 11 minute of the game. Cristian Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dime La Rocca having to interfere. Dime La Rocca made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Rubén-Darío Feldmann sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Laurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Castañares, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The wind increased when Lucio Oquendo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Real Marabino's zone, Osvaldo Potente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dime La Rocca came out of the goal and Osvaldo Potente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Oquendo came free, but Emanuel Laurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Francisco Erruki got a free kick in the 56th minute. Dime La Rocca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubén-Darío Feldmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Julian Castañares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gabi Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Real Marabino's Dime La Rocca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Batistuta in the 66th minute of play. Gabi Batistuta hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Gabi Batistuta kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, one of La Candela FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Candela FC. In the 90th minute 魏竞博 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Laurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Pasteur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The Real Marabino supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Marabino would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
