An unexpectedly hard shot by George Best in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Denver Light had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Truseni's zone, John Smed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Aritza came out of the goal and John Smed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Dorel Cretu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Truseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorel Cretu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Danielsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Virtual Aces's zone, Mihail Cepoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Danielsson came out of the goal and Mihail Cepoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denver Light in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Virtual Aces's Denver Light got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Dorel Cretu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Danielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Virtual Aces's George Best in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Truseni's goalie prevented a goal. John Smed took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Aritza. Anibal Aritza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denver Light during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Virtual Aces got a freekick which was hit by Denver Light. In the 25th minute Dorel Cretu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Danielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolae Papuc charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolae Papuc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Truseni getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nicolae Papuc hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, George Best had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anibal Aritza. FC Truseni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Best was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Denver Light sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Virtual Aces booed when FC Truseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Cepoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anibal Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Best, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute Virtual Aces were awarded a corner. George Best went to the cornerflag to take it. Virtual Aces's John Smed was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anibal Aritza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anibal Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Best, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute Virtual Aces were awarded a corner. George Best went to the cornerflag to take it. Leonid Nazaria kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Virtual Aces booed when FC Truseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Papuc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, George Best managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virtual Aces's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Best was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The wind increased when Teodor Cornea made the kick off in the second half. Virtual Aces's Joseph Danielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Nazaria in the 51st minute of play. After 55 played minutes FC Truseni got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Dobã. Dorin Dobã kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Virtual Aces's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Cornea came free, but Joseph Danielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joseph Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Cornea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Best recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virtual Aces's Øystein Rullhøj was substituted for John Smed. Mihail Cepoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Joseph Danielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denver Light sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Teodor Cornea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joseph Danielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorel Cretu in the 81st minute of the match. Nicolae Papuc got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 90th match minute, FC Truseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Papuc to maneuver through the defense. Nicolae Papuc hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Petrigai Cerbera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
Virtual Aces's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
