When Gabriel Távora fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terceirense F.C.'s protests and gave Gabriel Távora a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Civetta Notturna's goalkeeper Anthony Sacchi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44thth minute of the game Gabriel Távora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Civetta Notturna's Anthony Sacchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Távora to make the kick off. Gabriel Távora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. After 61 minutes AC Civetta Notturna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Amorim who took care of the corner kick. Antoine Elin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Anthony Sacchi, a very annoying self made goal in the 61st minute which led to 2-1. 66 minutes into the match, Gabriel Távora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anthony Sacchi. AC Civetta Notturna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Távora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Terceirense F.C.'s Lucas Luis was substituted for Aldo Anjos. Terceirense F.C.'s Anselmo Baldaia was substituted for Gabriel Távora. When Emanuele Corsi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the AC Civetta Notturna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Corsi couldn't finish the play. Anthony Sacchi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Baldaia went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute Daniele Danza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Terceirense F.C. were awarded a corner. Armando Parente went to the cornerflag to take it. Armando Parente made a great header on Terceirense F.C.'s corner, it was just that AC Civetta Notturna's Anthony Sacchi managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 95th minute, Anselmo Baldaia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anthony Sacchi was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1.

AC Civetta Notturna's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
