The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Despite this Ludomir Cuber quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Wincent Polkoski got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th match minute, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fryderyk Wiater to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Ludomir Cuber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Karol Biskupiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Witold Majkowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Majkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 59th minute of play forced Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Ludomir Cuber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The penalty shot was made by Fabio Artaldo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Ludomir Cuber. 4-4.
