Giorgian Arrascaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juninho Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute Giorgian Arrascaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgian Arrascaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgian Arrascaeta came free, but Juninho Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Motta Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Diogo Tavares hit a great ball. When Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34th minute of the match, Júnior Berger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernardo Moreira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 38 played minutes Warren FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Décio Secco. 41 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Santos came free, but Juninho Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Motta Futebol Clube's zone, Simão Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Freire came out of the goal and Simão Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Simão Santos made the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Bărbătescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Giorgian Arrascaeta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juninho Freire. That made the score 0-1 in the 63 minute of play. Bernardo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Juninho Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Santos in the 72nd minute of play. Giorgian Arrascaeta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juninho Freire came out and tried to block the shot, but Giorgian Arrascaeta slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juninho Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute of the match Warren FC - DMZ got a corner. Motta Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lin Zhen Yuan ran over to the corner to take the kick. 83 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Berger came free, but Bernardo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sydney Guerra during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Motta Futebol Clube booed when Warren FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Giorgian Arrascaeta came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Warren FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgian Arrascaeta couldn't finish the play. In the 96th match minute, Motta Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mac Oña to maneuver through the defense. Lin Zhen Yuan shot a long shot in the 97th minute and a light blocked Juninho Freire hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-3.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Warren FC - DMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
