Spectators: 499 (Terracing: 375, Seating: 115, VIP seats: 9) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ferdinand Boucher got the match started through his kick off. Omar Duardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camron Rhodes, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. With an all-out effort, Leicester Lions's Omar Duardo threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şükür Hagi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 8 minutes into the game, Michal Budzyn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leicester Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vancouver Reds the free kick. After 9 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Michal Budzyn. In the 10thth minute of the game Frances Grossman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Şükür Hagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Leicester Lions's Omar Duardo threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şükür Hagi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ferdinand Boucher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Isiah Hinkle. Alexander Cheetham didn't quite understand what happened when in the 24 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Omar Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Patton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Boucher, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi got a free kick in the 30th minute. Will Patton kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frances Grossman in the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo got control of the ball when Tod Freeman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Omar Duardo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester Lions's Camron Rhodes. But to his dismay, Camron Rhodes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

Patryk Plučinský made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tod Freeman immediately put the ball in play. In the 59th minute, Frances Grossman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camron Rhodes took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Duardo. Omar Duardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Boucher got free with Grant Blacknell in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexander Cheetham kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Leicester Lions's Jack Sharp was substituted for Alexander Cheetham. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Cheetham didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jack Sharp hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Ferdinand Boucher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şükür Hagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lamont Gilbert lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 90th minute, one of Vancouver Reds:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vancouver Reds. A collision led to Vancouver Reds getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Julian Gmoch hit a great ball. In the 98th minute Sebastien Clifford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Leicester Lions's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
