After a rather tough play, AVV Zeeburgia's Bobby Amsterdam got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Lucjan Bondel came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Lech Max fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Bondel couldn't finish the play. AVV Zeeburgia's Aílton Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save AVV Zeeburgia from getting a goal against them. Zygmunt Erland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Aílton Fernandez made a huge save. The AVV Zeeburgia fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when AVV Zeeburgia's Geert Wilder looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 21 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Podolski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aílton Fernandez. Czeslaw Podolski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 28th minute, Ludomir Drapinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Servet Akburç in the 33rd minute of play forced Lech Max's goalkeeper Boruc Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AVV Zeeburgia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Lucjan Bondel scored to the left of an out of position Aílton Fernandez, making the score, 2-1. In the 40th minute Lucjan Bondel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lucjan Bondel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aílton Fernandez was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Czeslaw Podolski in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aílton Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Servet Akburç to strike the kick off in the second half. AVV Zeeburgia were furious when Bobby Amsterdam was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 61st minute, one of AVV Zeeburgia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AVV Zeeburgia. Aílton Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Erland in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Servet Akburç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AVV Zeeburgia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 69 played minutes AVV Zeeburgia got a freekick which was hit by Xayveon Orsini. In the 71st match minute, AVV Zeeburgia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dries Bogaard to maneuver through the defense. Ludomir Drapinski kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Aílton Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Borowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Boruc Siwek came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by AVV Zeeburgia's Servet Akburç. But to his dismay, Servet Akburç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Aílton Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Bondel, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 95th minute, Servet Akburç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boruc Siwek was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4.

The Lech Max supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AVV Zeeburgia's performance. The match ended with a win for AVV Zeeburgia.
