In the 5th minute, Simón Videla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aldo Oroeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Vilardell in the 7th minute of the match. Aldo Oroeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raitin Salvia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Fikret Çanak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Castro in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Vilardell in the 19th minute of play forced SiTomanBoy´s's goalkeeper Aldo Oroeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Fikret Çanak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, SiTomanBoy´s's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Vilardell came free, but Aldo Oroeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SiTomanBoy´s getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Tinguaro Palau hit a great ball. The supporters of SiTomanBoy´s booed when Atletico Maturrango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roegelio Mariño didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Ahmet Fikret Çanak managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when SiTomanBoy´s's Marcos Francisco Elzo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Efrain Vilardell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Oroeta having to make a save. Aldo Oroeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Vilardell in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Raitin Salvia made the kick off in the second half. Aldo Oroeta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Vilardell in the 51st minute. Efrain Vilardell charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Vilardell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Atletico Maturrango getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Efrain Vilardell hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, SiTomanBoy´s's goalkeeper Aldo Oroeta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Vilardell. Aldo Oroeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Vilardell, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The corner led Atletico Maturrango's Efrain Vilardell to fire away a dangerous shot which Aldo Oroeta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Caton Oquendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Oroeta was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. With a little luck, SiTomanBoy´s's Aldo Oroeta got control of the ball when Efrain Vilardell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alejandro Castro hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Roegelio Mariño in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SiTomanBoy´s's Luis Varela. In the 86th minute Alejandro Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Fikret Çanak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SiTomanBoy´s's Aldo Oroeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save SiTomanBoy´s from getting a goal against them. After 89 minutes, Roegelio Mariño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Maturrango and the SiTomanBoy´s players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aldo Oroeta made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Efrain Vilardell sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the game, Raitin Salvia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Maturrango's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SiTomanBoy´s the free kick. After 94 played minutes Atletico Maturrango got a freekick which was hit by Raitin Salvia. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 0-0. Extra-time would have to be played.

102 minutes into the game, Atletico Maturrango's Efrain Vilardell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Oroeta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atletico Maturrango had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
