Jerrold Valcarcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Federigo in the 12th minute of play. Basilio Soler was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. Atlético Ourense's Jerrold Valcarcel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Mouricio in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Atletas Campesinos F.C. booed when Atlético Ourense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andoitz Riells didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Federigo struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jerrold Valcarcel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletas Campesinos F.C.. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Federigo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerrold Valcarcel saved Atlético Ourense from getting behind. Tartalo Rajoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Rosio having to interfere. Tartalo Rajoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Rosio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Gavino Peru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Atletas Campesinos F.C. from getting a goal against them. Tartalo Rajoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Atlético Ourense's Paulo Rosio threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tartalo Rajoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 43rd match minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ma Jian Hai to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Ourense's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 45th minute of the game, when Indartsu Sarro after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal. Indartsu Sarro was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Atlético Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Hernandez came free, but Jerrold Valcarcel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tartalo Rajoi made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Unai Calatayud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Ourense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletas Campesinos F.C. the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Atlético Ourense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unai Calatayud to maneuver through the defense. Jerrold Valcarcel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Federigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 63 minutes, Tartalo Rajoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Ourense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tartalo Rajoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Rosio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tartalo Rajoi in the 65th minute of the match. Joel Federigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerrold Valcarcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Galindo in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Luís Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerrold Valcarcel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Hernandez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Jerrold Valcarcel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gavino Peru's late challenge caught a Atlético Ourense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Peru helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Peru. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tartalo Rajoi in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Rosio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Rosio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tartalo Rajoi's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Conrado Mouricio made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adolfo Galindo however managed to control. Jerrold Valcarcel made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Joel Federigo sent off a good shot on target. Joel Federigo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Jerrold Valcarcel 84 minutes into the match. Jerrold Valcarcel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Atlético Ourense's Jerrold Valcarcel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Hernandez in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Tartalo Rajoi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio. Paulo Rosio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
