Maraman Reitsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 7th minute of the match. Ágætis Byrjun's Maraman Reitsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 19th minute of play. Fabio Santilli was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Feddo Reitsma capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Feddo Reitsma really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 27th minute, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maraman Reitsma was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maraman Reitsma saved Ágætis Byrjun from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 37th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maraman Reitsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Fokke Reitsma got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Ted Borker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KIA KAHA's Fabio Santilli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sataporn Snabl was the one to do the kick off. KIA KAHA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl-Erik Lind in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on KIA KAHA's corner Karl-Erik Lind fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maraman Reitsma quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Feddo Reitsma got a free kick in the 56th minute. Maraman Reitsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Maraman Reitsma to make any attempt to save it. 61 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos came free, but Maraman Reitsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
