The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Playa Malvín. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Gothic Souls. Tugay Kerimoglu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Estavan Virto. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Bale in the 9th minute of play forced Gothic Souls's goalkeeper Menderes Hikmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gothic Souls getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Aydın Secaat hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Gothic Souls's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Bale came free, but Menderes Hikmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aydın Secaat fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gothic Souls's protests and gave Aydın Secaat a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gothic Souls's Aydın Secaat got a free kick in the 18th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Aydın Secaat in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Playa Malvín's Isidoro Balcells. In the 28th minute Christian Bale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menderes Hikmet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Figo took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Estavan Virto. Estavan Virto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 72nd minute of the game Aydın Secaat made a throw-in which Bulut Arıkan played forward. In the 77th minute Tabor Canillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menderes Hikmet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Bale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Menderes Hikmet having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Playa Malvín's zone, Luis Figo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Estavan Virto came out of the goal and Luis Figo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estavan Virto made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Luis Figo sent off a good shot on target. Playa Malvín's Christian Bale got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
