With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Manuel Sempere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Solsona was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Tirant lo Blanch's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Juan Sánchez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 巩青沙 having to make a save. Jose Manuel Sempere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 于冰明 in the 28th minute of the match. Juan Sánchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 巩青沙 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Sánchez in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by 『挑战者』银河俱乐部's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sergi Baeza was slow to take the kick. During this time Tirant lo Blanch's players had a chance to rest. 巩青沙 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Solsona in the 40th minute of play. 巩青沙 made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Juan Sánchez sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Sánchez made a kick off. Jose Manuel Sempere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 武沙军, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, 『挑战者』银河俱乐部's Jose Manuel Sempere threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 武沙军, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 61 minutes, Juan Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tirant lo Blanch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Sánchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tirant lo Blanch's Jose Manuel Sempere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 于冰明 in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of 『挑战者』银河俱乐部 booed when Tirant lo Blanch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergi Baeza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Solsona charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Solsona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sergi Baeza's late challenge caught a 『挑战者』银河俱乐部's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergi Baeza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergi Baeza to maneuver through the defense. Jocelyn Angloma hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Sánchez in the 79th minute of play forced 『挑战者』银河俱乐部's goalkeeper 巩青沙 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of 『挑战者』银河俱乐部 booed when Tirant lo Blanch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Solsona didn't get a good kick on the ball. 姚骏坚 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Manuel Sempere having to interfere. Daniel Solsona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. 巩青沙 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 巩青沙 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Sánchez went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.

The Tirant lo Blanch players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
