The audience was convinced that Kevin Ööpik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Batalla was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Cirilo Urki struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Daniel Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A. Korn. Korn's goal looked a bit too open when Doğuş Baykara came free, but Augusto Batalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Batalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuş Baykara in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by A. Korn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Preetamjot Aşuräliyev was slow to take the kick. During this time Kutsikad's players had a chance to rest. A. Korn's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
