Abraham Zandberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Oldenborger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Pascal Vledder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenik Hoffhuis in the 17th minute of the match. When Jacco van Dartel came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the MK Investments fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacco van Dartel couldn't finish the play. Pascal Vledder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Bults, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. It was a well-played corner which Domenik Hoffhuis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some careless play in the De Digitale Dribbelaars defense, Pascal Bults kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascal Vledder. The De Digitale Dribbelaars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascal Vledder should have stopped the shot. After 45 played minutes De Digitale Dribbelaars got a freekick which was hit by Kristof Klompe. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pascal Vledder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenik Hoffhuis in the 51st minute of play. Pascal Vledder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waclaw Poremba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domenik Hoffhuis's late challenge caught a De Digitale Dribbelaars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenik Hoffhuis helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes MK Investments got a freekick which was hit by Domenik Hoffhuis. After a defensive mix-up in MK Investments's zone, Simon Schol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Oldenborger came out of the goal and Simon Schol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of MK Investments's goalie and right to Reinhard Alards. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. MK Investments's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 90th match minute, MK Investments was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Wegman to maneuver through the defense. MK Investments's Peter Oldenborger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristof Klompe in the 91st minute of play. After 96 minutes MK Investments's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Simon Schol who took care of the corner kick.

De Digitale Dribbelaars's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
