The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciprian Pavel during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Råda BK booed when Balavanis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Pavel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petre Baicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Vesterberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Råda BK's Per Hultin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Gavrilă in the 9th minute of play. Per Hultin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Gavrilă in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Gavrilă in the 28th minute of play forced Råda BK's goalkeeper Per Hultin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marin Gavrilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Toader Arotăriței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toader Arotăriței's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Per Hultin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 44th minute, Gabriel Tatomir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Vesterberg came free, but Petre Baicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Leonard Löfgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petre Baicea. Balavanis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Löfgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toader Arotăriței made a kick off. Leonard Löfgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonard Löfgren charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Löfgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Råda BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Råda BK defense, Marin Gavrilă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per Hultin. The Råda BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per Hultin should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Råda BK's zone, Gigel Crăciun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Hultin came out of the goal and Gigel Crăciun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Balavanis's Toader Arotăriței in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Råda BK's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Balavanis's zone, Uno Isaksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Baicea came out of the goal and Uno Isaksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, Balavanis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Groșan to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match, Uno Isaksson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Petre Baicea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 80 minutes into the match, Råda BK's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Gavrilă came free, but Per Hultin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Råda BK's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Arotăriței came free, but Per Hultin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Bogren hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Balavanis's Marin Gavrilă got a free kick in the 98th minute. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Råda BK's Uno Isaksson that got to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 103 minutes, Per Hultin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 104th minute Toader Arotăriței shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Hultin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per Hultin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Arotăriței in the 114th minute of play. Marin Gavrilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 115th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per Hultin made a fantastic save in the 116th minute, when Toader Arotăriței sent off a good shot on target. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Toader Arotăriței to make the kick off. Råda BK's Per Hultin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Arotăriței in the 120th minute of play. Per Hultin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Gavrilă in the 127th minute of the match. Marin Gavrilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 131st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Hultin having to interfere. In the 132nd minute, Eusebiu Curea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balavanis's Petre Baicea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 133rd minute of the match, managed to save Balavanis from getting a goal against them.

Balavanis:s Per Hultin showed great skill when he stopped Uno Isaksson:s penalty. The referee gave Råda BK a penalty, 139 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Oliver Vesterberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Balavanis's Petre Baicea. 1-2. When the match had been going on for 140 minutes, Balavanis's Ciprian Sângeorzan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Per Hultin. Per Hultin had in the 142ndth minute some difficulties stopping Edgar Fagerberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Balavanis:s Per Hultin showed great skill when he stopped Frank Emander:s penalty. Råda BK:s Per Hultin showed great skill when he stopped Petre Baicea:s penalty. Per Hultin had in the 147thth minute some difficulties stopping Tom Rydberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Råda BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Balavanis.
