When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cristiano Cigaran sped through JET-M's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Boyan Stumbov. Vítor Damas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilijus Mileška, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 7 minutes, Cristiano Cigaran made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. JET-M's Boyan Stumbov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Boyan Stumbov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Sá in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Krastyo Radomirski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JET-M's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esquadrão Lusitano the free kick. In the 13th minute, Krastyo Radomirski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 14 minutes, Rui Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquadrão Lusitano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Cristiano Cigaran made a precise shot to the right of Boyan Stumbov. JET-M's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 22nd minute, Sidónio Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Yoakim Nakov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vítor Damas. That made the score 1-3 in the 24 minute of play. Vítor Damas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoakim Nakov in the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas got control of the ball when Stoil Tuechki tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Esquadrão Lusitano's Rui Sá nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boyan Stumbov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. A collision led to JET-M getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Virgilijus Mileška hit a great ball. Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Esquadrão Lusitano from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Krastyo Radomirski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Damas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Virgilijus Mileška managed to get in a good position for a shot. JET-M's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilijus Mileška was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Damas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Sá was the one to do the kick off. Valdo Passos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stoil Tuechki in the 52nd minute of play forced Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Vítor Damas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Sá in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyan Stumbov saved JET-M from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Krastyo Radomirski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilijus Mileška came free, but Vítor Damas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes, Prokopi Baev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JET-M and the Esquadrão Lusitano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, JET-M's Prokopi Baev got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Cristiano Cigaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Damas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilijus Mileška in the 87th minute of play.
