Spectators: 456 (Terracing: 342, Seating: 105, VIP seats: 9) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osvaldo Ardiles kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, one of El coca fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, El coca fc's José Luis Cuciuffo got a free kick in the 9th minute. Serafino Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Quintal in the 10th minute of the match. Serafino Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Quintal in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Natã Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robinho de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Aguilera in the 15th minute of play. Osvaldo Ardiles took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho de Salles. Robinho de Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Serafino Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 37 minutes into the match, El coca fc's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Quintal came free, but Serafino Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamílton Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamílton Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Correia to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Abelardo Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Serafino Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Valladares. Robinho de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Ardiles in the 62nd minute of play. Serafino Lopez made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Luís Gustavo Botelho sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the game, Luís Gustavo Botelho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serafino Lopez. Luís Gustavo Botelho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Dino Tavares's late challenge caught a El coca fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Dino Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Nova Venécia-ES booed when El coca fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Urko didn't get a good kick on the ball. El coca fc's Carmelo Ponce got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Robinho de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Aguilera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Osvaldo Ardiles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robinho de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Ardiles, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Abelardo Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Venécia-ES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of El coca fc booed when Nova Venécia-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by Jano Alcântara. Angelino Urko struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Robinho de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El coca fc.
