In the 140th minute there was a penalty for BlueLionesse. Cristinel Nicodim stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nana Lider. 3-2. Nana Lider had in the 141stth minute some difficulties stopping Leonardo Soter's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee gave BlueLionesse a penalty, 142 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Octavian Isărescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider. 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BlueLionesse had won after a very even match.
