With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beto Márcico in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natanael Paraense saved Goiás Esporte Clube from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Dênis Faria got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Giovanni da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Kauldi in the 19th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Goiás Esporte Clube's zone, Domingo Hernando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natanael Paraense came out of the goal and Domingo Hernando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 23rd minute of the match Domingo Hernando completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Domingo Hernando a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Domingo Hernando got a free kick in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Dênis Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goiás Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asesinos Por Naturaleza the free kick. After 28 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Faria. Marcus Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Pablo Lohitzun made a huge save. Esteve Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Goiás Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Beto Márcico kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Marcus Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Lohitzun having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto Márcico to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Goiás Esporte Clube's Marcus Diniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Lohitzun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Valdir Neves hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Pablo Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Diniz in the 76th minute of play. If Beto Márcico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Umberto Peres fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goiás Esporte Clube's protests and gave Umberto Peres a yellow card for diving instead. Umberto Peres hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Esteve Nerio struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Natanael Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asesinos Por Naturaleza. In the 91st minute, Dênis Faria made a precise shot to the right of Pablo Lohitzun. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Marcus Diniz scored 3-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Lohitzun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
