Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Genadi Gotzev took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, MIHAEL's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Igor Vapordzhiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Vapordzhiev came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in MIHAEL's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Vapordzhiev came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blagovest Hristanov hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. MIHAEL's Igor Vapordzhiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of MIHAEL booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play forced MIHAEL's goalkeeper Igor Vapordzhiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Lyudmil Kenov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Lyudmil Kenov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Igor Vapordzhiev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Igor Vapordzhiev made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Vapordzhiev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Igor Vapordzhiev came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Igor Vapordzhiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Vapordzhiev having to interfere. Igor Vapordzhiev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Vapordzhiev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emiliyan Raynovski's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliyan Raynovski helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Igor Vapordzhiev made a huge save.
