Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Teodoro Prestes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ian Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 minutes, Gernando Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gernando Maranhense hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Brasil was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Brasil. Ian Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Brasil. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ian Brasil came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ian Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play forced ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goalkeeper Ian Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 40 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Ian Brasil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Ian Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Ian Brasil managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Ian Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Ian Brasil to make any attempt to save it. Gernando Maranhense was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Ian Brasil in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ian Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Brasil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Felix Montenegros short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Ian Brasil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 77 minutes, Felix Montenegro made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Ian Brasil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd match minute, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ian Brasil made a huge save. Ian Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Felix Montes made a precise shot to the right of Ian Brasil. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. In the 92nd minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. The ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
