Not Today were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Turgut Süngü took the corner. 20 minutes into the match, Merih Bengi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wasyl Fetor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Merih Bengi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of Colombia booed when Not Today was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Oğuz Veysi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güner Uludoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Not Today's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Secada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
