After 20 played minutes Eintracht Cernavoda got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Izbașa. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yin Li Ying, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Eintracht Cernavoda's Yin Li Ying dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Filip Pantiș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eintracht Cernavoda's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Pantiș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Isak in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ionică Corcoveanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Li Ying in the 67th minute of play. Yin Li Ying scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Eintracht Cernavoda's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionică Corcoveanu came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 74th minute of the match Patricio Costa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Patricio Costa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Mikael Isak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Mikael Isak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eintracht Cernavoda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 81st minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 87th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yin Li Ying went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Filip Pantiș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Eintracht Cernavoda had won after a very even match.
