Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Calixto Landoff took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Sagrario came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislao Osasun was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Ladislao Osasun came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ladislao Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. Ladislao Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Osasun having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Ladislao Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Angua FC made a substitution. Braulio Gartzi replaced Clodoveo Mercurio. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Sagrario in the 56th minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Osasun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Calixto Landoff might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calixto Landoff ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calixto Landoff in the 65th minute of play. Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Angua FC from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute Carolo Eufemio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calixto Landoff in the 78th minute of the match. When Angua FC's Calixto Landoff in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Angua FC's Braulio Lopes was substituted for Calixto Landoff. The supporters of Angua FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Braulio Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
