Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heimko Geisen having to interfere. Französisch Buchholz FC's Heimko Geisen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 12th minute of play. Heimko Geisen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Französisch Buchholz FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Heimko Geisen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Velloso in the 20th minute of play. Heimko Geisen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes Französisch Buchholz FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Heimko Geisen quite easily take care of the ball. Heimko Geisen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heimko Geisen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heimko Geisen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Französisch Buchholz FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 32 minutes into the match, Französisch Buchholz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Heimko Geisen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Französisch Buchholz FC's Jeremias Clementi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armin Kirchhoff in the 39th minute. In the 45th match minute, Französisch Buchholz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Velloso to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Heimko Geisen however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heimko Geisen having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Velloso came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Felix Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Heimko Geisen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maiko Kottsieper in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dé Velloso in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dé Velloso struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Französisch Buchholz FC. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Heimko Geisen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heimko Geisen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Heimko Geisen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Französisch Buchholz FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
