Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Várdai in the 13th minute of play. Sabri Taci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Baladi having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling László Várdai in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. László Várdai in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when László Várdai sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when László Várdai made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Sabri Taci hit a great ball. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Sabri Taci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabri Taci in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabri Taci in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. 78 minutes into the match, 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯'s goalkeeper Nemesio Baladi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After 79 played minutes 『挑战者』太平·一生铭记≮浙≯ got a freekick which was hit by 江卫振. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Hofer came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. László Várdai hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
