Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 4 minutes, Jose Asier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A Vientos Huracanados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Asier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after C.A Vientos Huracanados's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalie and right to Felix Montenegro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. C.A Vientos Huracanados's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Silvio Odilon came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the C.A Vientos Huracanados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Odilon couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paolo Ubarna. C.A Vientos Huracanados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A Vientos Huracanados's Silvio Odilon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. Paolo Ubarna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Ubarna having to make a save. In the 32nd match minute, C.A Vientos Huracanados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Dolfos to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Ubarna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes C.A Vientos Huracanados's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paolo Ubarna quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to C.A Vientos Huracanados getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Higinio Cesaro hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Severo Elazar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Paolo Ubarna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 46 in the game by Severo Elazar from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severo Elazar made a kick off. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Cesaro's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. C.A Vientos Huracanados's Paolo Ubarna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save C.A Vientos Huracanados from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, Desiderio Basualdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Faustino Dolfos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Ubarna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leo Orlandus charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Orlandus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes C.A Vientos Huracanados got a freekick which was hit by Leo Orlandus. In the 72nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Elazar in the 78th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paolo Ubarna quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 90th minute of play forced C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalkeeper Paolo Ubarna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Ubarna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but C.A Vientos Huracanados were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
