Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Carlos Fernando Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, La Bestia Negra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Pena to maneuver through the defense. Radoslaw Oleszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Germano Pena in the 28 minute of the game. Radoslaw Oleszak came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 34th minute of play forced La Bestia Negra's goalkeeper Radoslaw Oleszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Mina hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Radoslaw Oleszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radoslaw Oleszak saved La Bestia Negra from getting behind. Radoslaw Oleszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Fernando Faria to make the kick off. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Milagros Fraga in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Bestia Negra's Diego Cardozo. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fernando Faria in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Oleszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radoslaw Oleszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute of the match. Filomeno Martxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Bestia Negra made a substitution. Diguinho Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Radoslaw Oleszak made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Diguinho Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 86 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when George Orășan came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radoslaw Oleszak.
