AFC United's Lei Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lei Bin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Fryderyk Maurycy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lei Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Huyghebaert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Huyghebaert got free with Rolando Noboa in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lei Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Huyghebaert in the 34th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Huyghebaert in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Peru's Milagros Fraga got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Andries De Putter came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Peru's Luz Tejedor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lei Bin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AFC United's Lei Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zeng Sang Chao made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bilintx Trilla however managed to control. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lei Bin was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Lei Bin made a huge save. Isaac Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. In the 86th minute, Antonio Tenorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lei Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lei Bin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 1-2 became the score in the 95th minute when Rafael Gallo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The AFC United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
