Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Cleto Magdaleno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. JANUMET's Cleto Magdaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Magdaleno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. JANUMET's Cleto Magdaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Mario Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. JANUMET's Cleto Magdaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Cleto Magdaleno. JANUMET's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Aristides Chumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleto Magdaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 42 in the game by Aristides Chumo from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. JANUMET's Aristides Chumo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 46th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. JANUMET's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aristides Chumo to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Magdaleno having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. 60 minutes into the match, JANUMET's goalkeeper Cleto Magdaleno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cleto Magdaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Cleto Magdaleno to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cleto Magdaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. JANUMET made a substitution. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio replaced Aristides Chumo. JANUMET made a substitution. Vinicio Indar replaced Jacinto Garikoitz. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, JANUMET's Cleto Magdaleno got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleto Magdaleno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. JANUMET's Cleto Magdaleno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save JANUMET from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Eriz in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Eriz in the 91st minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than JANUMET throughout the match.
