Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 16th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tutor Militari's goalie and right to Luca Espinar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tutor Militari's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Rareș Nicola put in a rough tackle. In the 18th minute, one of Tutor Militari:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tutor Militari. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Niculae Curăreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Heleno Tutorskiy scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Heleno Tutorskiy took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristinel Cînu, made in the 41st minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Arseni was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Martin Arseni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tutor Militari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Arseni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Tutor Militari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Cornea to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. Cristinel Cînu made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Cristinel Cînu's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristinel Cînu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Tutor Militari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Cînu to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute of the game Cristinel Cînu made a throw-in which David Cornea played forward. Cristinel Cînu made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Niculae Curăreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Honduras's Sebastian Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niculae Curăreanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martin Arseni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
