Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of MarquinhosEC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute Alessandro do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by MarquinhosEC's Alessandro do Valle. But to his dismay, Alessandro do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by MarquinhosEC's Alessandro do Valle. MarquinhosEC's Matei Răducu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 13th minute of play. Andreas Iniesta kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 17th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MarquinhosEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Martini in the 21st minute. Gabriel Martini made a great header on MarquinhosEC's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Curt Montes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 27 minute of play. Matei Răducu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Răducu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barrie Deacon to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Andreas Iniesta in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Matei Răducu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro do Valle was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matei Răducu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 60 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Matei Răducu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curt Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Curt Montes came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Perivaldo Guimarães scored 4-4 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Guimarães in the 91st minute of play. Despite being the better team, Mexico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
