Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Natã Quintal kicked off to start the match. Natã Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Mexico's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dino Tavares 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Leonel Paranaense sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robinho de Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdo Diniz was slow to take the kick. During this time Nova Venécia-ES's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Nova Venécia-ES's Valdo Diniz to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 44th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Facundo Cadaval notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Nova Venécia-ES's Robinho de Salles. Robinho de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Botelho came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Venécia-ES's Luís Gustavo Botelho. But to his dismay, Luís Gustavo Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Robinho de Salles made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nova Venécia-ES's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Robinho de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Nova Venécia-ES booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Robinho de Salles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Nova Venécia-ES's Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Robinho de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Nova Venécia-ES to leave the ground with a draw.
